1. Individuals who are from Assin Area of Ghana and resides in Minnesota-USA
2. Individuals who are 18 years or above
3. Individuals who grew up in Assin and have interest in the development of Assin in heart.
4. Membership is opened to all individuals who are married to natives of Assin.
Probationary membership
All new members shall be subject to a three-month probationary period before they can qualify for any welfare benefits.
ONE TIME MEMBERSHIP ADMISSION FEE
As a condition to membership, each member shall pay a $50.00 non-refundable fee. Upon recommendation of the Executive Committee and approval of the Association’s members such fee maybe revised from time to time.
Inactive membership
All members must be active in association’s programs, activities, and meetings. After the sixth absence from meetings, a member becomes inactive, and name removed. An inactive member shall only be readmitted to the association upon assurance that the said member has taken all necessary steps to avoid repetition of continued absences. An inactive member shall be notified of his/her status in writing.
